Roadtrips

We were very brave last week and took 2 separate road trips with Willa. On Monday we drove to Las Vegas to see our dear friend, Barbara, and for Bryan to attend the NAB show (camera/film stuff). The drive ended up being pretty painless, and it was so good to see Barbara, who moved to Henderson, NV a few months ago. 

While Bryan was at his convention, Babs and I took Willa to the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay then had a nice lunch.

Passed out after a fun day at the casino. 

We were sad to say goodbye to Barbara, but inspired to visit her more often! Willa cried for the first portion of the drive home saying "I miss Barbara and Abby (Barb's Golden Retriever)! I want to go back to Las Vegas!")

Friday Morning we left at 4:00 a.m. for Lake Tahoe for a wedding. We left early so that Willa would sleep the first couple of hours of the drive. 

We took the scenic route and it was a really beautiful drive there. 

We stopped in Mammoth to see some snow and grab lunch. 

We fell in LOVE with Lake Tahoe. It is such a beautiful and relaxing place.
