Fun with Grandma, Etc.

Grandma came out for a quick visit...We even squeezed in a Disneyland trip. Haha, poor Grandma had a bad back so we decided to rent a wheelchair...and unfortunately we didn't get to the front of any lines.

Tis the season for birthday parties! We have had 2-3 birthday parties per weekend for the past couple of months. Grandma got to tag along for one of them. 

I walked in the living room the other day to find Willa curled up and fast asleep in the laundry basket! She doesn't really nap anymore so my immediate reaction was to make sure she was breathing. She slept in there for about 30 mins. 

We went to see Disney's Frozen with a couple of our buddies, then walked around the Sherman Oaks Galleria. 

A Heavenly Thanksgiving Week

The whole week of Thanksgiving could not have been better. Nana, Uncle Charlie, Aunt Megan, Uncle Woody & Aunt Marcia all came to California. We rented a house in the Santa Ynez Valley for a couple of days, then Patti hosted an incredible Thanksgiving Dinner. It was truly the most memorable week.

Willa & Noemie's Birthday Party

We had a joint birthday party for Willa and her buddy, Noemie this past weekend at Underwood Farm. It ended up being somewhat of a disaster because Willa got something in her eye and ended up having a major allergic reaction. It happened 5 minutes into the birthday party during a horse drawn carriage ride, so the poor girl was pretty much miserable the rest of the party. We ended up going to Urgent Care later that day...And just yesterday we had to go to an Opthamologist because her eye was still very irritated. It turned out that she had a black thing (the doctor said it looked like metal) imbedded into her upper eye lid. Ouch! Anyways, I think everyone besides us had a really good time at the party.

One of the hits of the party were these amazing M&M's that Patti had ordered. Each M&M had either Willa or Noemie's face printed on them and also said, "Hey I'm 3!".

All she wanted to do was open the presents, so we let her open one before we headed home.
