Recent Photos

Here are some photos from the past month or so...

Ice Cream in Porter Ranch- We've been exploring different areas trying to figure out the best place to move when Willa starts Elementary School.

The Butterfly Fire-Woman

Wine Country Trip with Preschool Friends (More Pics from this trip to come later)

Willa at her new daycare. We found this great daycare in Encino that Willa has been going to on days when Mommy and Daddy are both working.

Hot Chocolate at Starbucks. Our power went out for half of a day so we had to leave because our house was really cold.

Academy Award Party with Nana and Aunt Patti

Homemade orange juice popsicles

Poor Eddie

A casualty of the Earthquake the other morning. It was the scariest one we've experienced yet. The epicenter was in Encino!

Getting her haircut

Willa at her 3 year wellness check-up (a few months late). She is healthy- In the 50th percentile for both height and weight.

Flipping me the bird?

Fun afternoon at Giggles & Hugs. She doesn't seem thrilled to be on Minnie's lap. Check out that smirk :)

Daddy has been gone for several weeks working in NYC. It has been really hard for Willa this time around, and she's been crying at school a lot about it. One of the teacher's & Willa wrote him a note, then Daddy sent one back.

Breakfast in Newport Beach. One of my best friends, Anna, and her family were in Newport Beach for Vacation. Willa and I spent a night at their vacation rental and had so much fun! Anna has a daughter, Ruby who is a couple of months older than Willa.

Birthday Parties

We continue to go to many toddler birthday parties. Here are some pictures from Ellie's Birthday & Milena's Birthday.

Ellie's party was at a cool kid's place called Giggles & Hugs.

Grace (Ellie's mom), Carol (Noemie's mom) & Correne (Leo's mom)

Trying to get a group shot of all of the kids without them focusing on the candy table in front of them (not easy). Most of these kids are from her preschool class.

These next photos are from Milena's party at Lollipop Dreams where they had millions of princess dresses, etc. to dress up in. Cinderella was there too!

Father/ Daughter Dance

Getting ready for the Father/ Daughter Dance at Bel-Air Presbyterian. She insisted on bringing her Minnie Mouse Backpack full of random items.

About to leave...She's excited!

Photos from the event...Bryan took some video footage that is hilarious. They had fun, but she was pretty tired the whole time because we packed too much in that Saturday (playdate, then birthday party, then dance).  She was also one of the youngest girls there.

Bel Air Presbyterian Preschool Christmas Show

This post is a couple of months late, but I wanted to share photos from Willa's Preschool's Christmas Show. It was an amazing experience as first time parents to watch. It was so well orchestrated & the kids and teachers did a great job. They started the show with a slideshow of photos from school of each child that goes to Bel Air Presbyterian Preschool Program while a beautiful song played...I immediately and unexpectedly teared up (I think Bryan did too).

The older classes at the preschool were the Shepherds, Mary & Joseph, Wise Men, etc...

Later in the show the nativity scene animals came out which were the kids from the two youngest classes.

Willa was the donkey!

Willa's buddy, Noemie.

Her good friend, Ellie with a bit of stage fright.

Willa just sat there like a bump on a log. I think she was in shock by all of the people in the audience.

Taking her hood off mid-show...

Free at last!...

Until a random teacher put her hood back on :)

Willa's friend Leo. After the show there was a Christmas lunch where the kids gave us Christmas cards and little ornaments they had made. It was truly awesome!
