First Time at the Movie Theater

Yesterday we took Willa to a movie theater for the first time to see "The Croods". Bryan has been excited for this day for a long time!

We weren't sure if she'd make it through the whole movie. We thought she may get restless and want to go home, but she LOVED it. She watched the entire movie, only getting up to run up and down the aisle for about 10 minutes. It was definitely a success.

Charleston

We went down to Charleston this past week to go to Opa's funeral. It was a nice celebration of an incredible man's life, and it was good to be with family in SC. 

I took this picture to send Aunt Julie, as the coat Willa was wearing was a hand-me-down from Katie and Alexis. I later noticed that the dogs had photo-bombed the picture. 

These 3 little ladies had an absolute blast together. They were in the bath for about an hour and belly laughed the entire time. 

Willa took a nap on the couch one day and Ray Ray jumped up on her and slept on top of her. She didn't even flinch :)

Road Trip in the Minivan

This past weekend we took a road trip with another family (the Greavu's) to wine country. It was a very ambitious trip as there were 4 adults, 2 two year olds, 1 four month old baby, and 2 little white dogs...all traveling in one minivan. We made a stop at the Santa Barbara Zoo, then continued north to the Santa Ynez Valley, where we rented a house. It ended up being such a great weekend!

Counting Down...

We are trying to schedule lots of play dates and fun things for Willa to make time pass quickly. Sunday is the big day that Daddy returns from his shoot, and we are both counting down the minutes until he returns. :)

We have met a nice family in our neighborhood who have a 2 year old (Fiona) and an 8 month old (baby Jess). Both parents work full-time, but we have started meeting up with their Nanny (Nuria) and the two kids a couple times a week.

Dress-Up Play Date

 We had a play date yesterday with "Mommy and Me" friends at a place called Lollipop Dreams. They could dress up, do crafts, and get their faces painted. This was pretty much Willa's version of heaven as she LOVES to dress up lately. After about 4 outfit changes, a unicorn being painted on her arm, and a butterfly on her face...she had a major terrible 2's melt down, and we had to leave. Besides the tantrum, we had fun.

We went to the 2nd birthday party of Willa's twin buddies, Maddie and Chloe. It was nearly impossible to keep Willa away from the candy table. I think she had more sweets than she has had in her entire life...combined!
