Some Charleston Pics

We are missing Daddy, but having a good time in Charleston.

Willa's first walk on the beach. It was about 90 degrees and super humid, so it was a short walk.

Willa has been loving playing with her furry cousins, Pawley, Ray Charles and Ellis. She likes to grab their collars and giggles at them. Pawley absolutely loves her. He actually crawled onto her lap and sat down yesterday.

Willa and Aunt Patti at the pool. She is continuing to enjoy swimming. Today we bought her a floating device with a built in canopy to block the sun, because she is now yanking off her sun hat any chance she gets.

She's been eating lots of new foods! This picture is of her eating carrots. I have to get her naked before feeding her because she is such a slob. Like mother like daughter :)

We are visiting my family in Charleston and took Willa swimming for the first time. Like pretty much everything else...She loved it!

The Willa Bean and Family in Wine Country

As always, we had the best time in Santa Barbara wine country! We went to celebrate daddy's 30th birthday, and it was so much fun. It was Willa's first time visiting the area, unless you count the times while she was in my belly during early pregnancy (unknowingly...oops!).

One of our new favorite tasting rooms, "Artiste". The wine was delicious, and you can paint while you are there. How cool is that?

These are a couple of my favorite recent pictures of Bryan and Willa.

Yesterday was Bryan's 30th birthday, and it was a great day! First we went to a birthday brunch at Cecconi's with friends. 

Later, we headed downtown to Roy's for some birthday dinner. We had a gift card, and Bryan was craving sushi. It was so good! His real birthday celebration will be when we drive up to wine country on Wednesday for an overnight family trip...Willa's first trip to our favorite place!

When we got home, we gave her some mashed up avocado for the first time. She loved it, although half of it ended up on her face, hands, clothes and bumbo chair.  :)
